The Nitty - Gritty

  • Tectona Living is a collection of thoughtfully designed objects for everyday living. From lights and games to platters, surfaces and smaller objects, each piece is designed to find a natural place in your everyday life.

  • Natural materials have their own variations in grain, colour, texture and finish. These variations are part of the material's character and handcrafted nature.

  • Care depends on the material. For wooden pieces, use a soft, dry cloth and a barely damp cloth for deeper cleaning, followed by immediate drying. Keep wooden pieces away from prolonged direct sunlight and heat & Water

  • Every object starts with questions around how it feels, how it functions and how it fits into everyday life. Material, form, function and detail are considered together.

  • Tectona Living is part of the larger Tectona Grandis ecosystem. It carries the same regard for material, craft and thoughtful design, expressed through a lighter, more everyday scale.

  • Tectona Living works with natural, honest materials. Material selection is considered as part of the design and making process, with product-specific material information available on each product page.
